Avails Coordinator, Sales

Shout Factory is looking for an Avails Coordinator in the Digital Sales department to oversee a high volume of Transactional Video On Demand & Cable Video On Demand availing. EST and CVOD platforms include Amazon, Apple, Googleplay, FandangoNow, Microsoft, Vudu, InDemand, Redbox and emerging platforms, with approximately 50-75 new release/sales avails per month per platform. This position will have a high level of interaction with both the digital production department and the Content Licensing and Strategy department as part of the avails process and will be tasked with upkeep of an ongoing avails database in coordination with both departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, availing and information management for a large volume of titles under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Sales. Specifically EST & CVOD new release avails, bundle avails, strategic repricing avails and sales promotion avails.
  • Coordinate collection of metadata for all avails in conjunction with sales and marketing within strict deadlines.
  • Ongoing maintenance of the avails database.
  • Platform availability tracking.
  • Research and analytical projects as needed.
  • File and Metadata creation and delivery.
  • Updating the department wiki/SharePoint in coordination with Production.
  • Assist the AVP of Digital Sales in account management, providing materials and assets to various platforms in a timely manner. Provide general assistance to members of the department, as well as specific administration assistance to the department head and manager.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3-year experience in TVOD/CVOD or equivalent field.
  • Must be Mac and PC proficient
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Outlook
  • Must be highly detail oriented.
  • Must be able to nimbly shift from task to task as priorities shift.
  • Experience with EMA avails, as well as various other platform avail processes, is highly preferred.
  • An understanding of pricing and windowing strategy in the TVOD ecosystem is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related (media, production, film and TV studies, journalism, etc.) field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interest in entertainment media (film, television, digital video).
