All contact with a military base high in the desolate wastelands of Colombia has been lost. The authorities – believing the base to have fallen to a terrorist attack – send a nine-man squad to investigate. When they arrive, the men discover a shocking scene of carnage and only one survivor: a mute woman in chains.
Gradually the isolation, the inability to communicate with the outside world and the impossibility of escape begin to undermine the sanity of the soldiers. They start to question the identity of their enemy and the true nature of the strange, silent woman. Is she a terrorist? A victim? Or something more sinister? Something supernatural? Paranoia takes root. Prisoners of fear and the terrible secret they share, the men abandon their humanity and turn savagely on one another.
Comedy favorite Cedric “The Entertainer” is back on the pulpit in the second season of The Soul Man, the spiritual and side-splitting sitcom he developed with Suzanne Martin (Hot In Cleveland).
Former R&B superstar-turned-preacher Boyce “The Voice” Ballentine (Cedric) continues to find his footing in the transition from music to ministering in Season Two’s ten episodes, facing whatever challenges that come his way with grace and humor. Whether he's getting an unwanted houseguest, becoming an unwitting viral video sensation, or getting back to his roots in a recording studio, Boyce will need a miracle to keep it together.
Season Two of The Soul Man also stars Niecy Nash (Reno 911) and Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You), with guest stars including John Beasley (Everwood), Jazz Raycole (My Wife and Kids), Anthony Anderson (Law & Order), and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community)!
All 23 wild and crazy episodes from the first two seasons of Pee-wee's Playhouse have been METICULOUSLY RE-MASTERED from the original film elements and now YOU can see them for the very first time looking better than ever before!
John Wayne was Hollywood’s definition of the western hero; tall in the saddle, good with a six-gun, rough and tough on the bad hats and gentle with the ladies.
This anthology of John Wayne films has all the drama and fast-paced action that made “the Duke” a film legend, from the early Lone Star westerns to the 1963 western comedy, McLintock. Packed with extras, this 2 DVD set includes a short biography of “the Duke,” over 40 minutes of film trailers from some of his most memorable films, and interviews with Wayne’s long-time friends Yakima Canutt, Harry Carey Jr., and Iron Eyes Cody. As a special bonus, the set includes The American West of John Ford, an in-depth look at the man behind so many of John Wayne’s films.
