DEPARTURES), a funny and poignant coming-of-age story celebrating the love for friendship, romance and life, from BCDF Pictures and Voltage Pictures. Directed by Peter Hutchings (The Outskirts, Rhymes with Banana) and written by Fergal Rock (Fairy City), THEN CAME YOU stars Asa Butterfield (The House of Tomorrow, The Space Between Us), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Tyler Hoechlin (Fifty Shades Freed), David Koechner (The Goldbergs), Peyton List (The Outcasts), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Sonya Walger (Lost), Margot Bingham (Boardwalk Empire), and Ken Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians). Shout! Studios has secured all North American distribution rights to THEN CAME YOU, including theatrical, video-on-demand, digital, broadcast, and home entertainment for cross-platform releases in the U.S. and Canada. Shout! Studios plans a strategic rollout of this movie across multiple entertainment platforms, beginning with a theatrical launch early next year.

THEN CAME YOU is a sweet, uplifting tale that reminds us it’s not how long we live, but how we live the life we have, that matters. The film tells the story of Skye (Maisie Williams), a spunky teenager with a terminal illness who befriends Calvin (Asa Butterfield), a 19-year old hypochondriac who is afraid of his own shadow. Calvin helps Skye carry out her eccentric bucket list of things to do before she dies. In the process, he learns to confront and conquer his own fears, including falling in love with the beautiful, but seemingly untouchable, Izzy (Nina Dobrev).
