Shout! Factory, a multi-platform media company, and Studio 100 Film, international feature film sales agency and subsidiary of Studio 100 Media, have entered into a movie deal to distribute the new animated feature PRINCESS EMMY – The Movie in both U.S. and Canada. Produced by Studio 100 Media, Talking Horse, Witebox and Animationsfabrik, PRINCESS EMMY – THE MOVIE boasts an all-star international voice cast of Ruby Barnhill (The BFG, Mary and the Witches Flower), Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones, Netflix’s Hilda), Franka Potente (Run Lola Run, Bourne Identity), and John Hannah (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Mummy). The film is directed by Piet de Rycker (Laura’s Star, Little Polar Bear). This announcement was made today by Melissa Boag, Shout! Factory’s Senior Vice President of Kids & Family Entertainment, and Thorsten Wegener, Director of Operations at Studio 100 Film.
Shout! Factory has secured all North American distribution rights to PRINCESS EMMY – THE MOVIE, including digital, video-on-demand, home entertainment, theatrical, and broadcast rights. Shout! Factory plans a strategic launch of this movie across multiple entertainment platforms through Shout’s kids & family imprint, Shout! Factory Kids.
