Richard Thompson returns in amazing form with the release of Sweet Warrior – in stores today! This record is easily the best thing that Richard has done since Rumor and Sigh, and in the humble and biased opinion of many here @ Shout!, is in fact a step above. A welcome return to his electric sound, Sweet Warrior is filled with 14 songs in classic Richard Thompson form. The album also holds one of Thompson’s most overtly political songs to date, “Dad’s Gonna Kill Me,” which made a big splash on The Huffington Post earlier this year.
