Yes, Transformers Animated needs a decent DVD release. All the previous DVD releases were pan and scan, the widescreen version has not been released on DVD at all (worldwide).

hmm I id not realise that, yes shout should release a complete box set in widescreen and in blu ray maybe (and unlike gi joe not region locked, that was ridiculous)

Yeah, with all the shorts (listed at http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_Animated_(cartoon)#Episodes ), and the audio commentaries to "Mission Accomplished" and "Garbage In, Garbage Out" that were on the Season 2 DVD set.

RE: Transformers Animated

Yeah, I'd be all over a boxset in widescreen with the shorts included.

RE: Transformers Animated

I missed out on them the first time around so it would be nice if Shout released the whole series down the line.

yeah i didnt mean they came out on shout, i misread that you wanted shout to put them out. The seasons they put out can be found in bargain bins at all the major retail chains here but as I said, no season 3 :( Be nice for shout to put out season 3 but I dont see it happening

RE: Transformers Animated

And Animated really needs to be released on Blu-Ray. The show was animated in widescreen HD.

Also, any proper release would need the Studio 4°C shorts.

Not to mention they all went out of print almost immediately and now fetch collector's prices...  A complete series set would be great, I completely missed this one when it originally came out.

RE: Transformers Animated

Shout! never did TF:A. Those DVD sets where done by Paramount and Hasbro. I think it's pretty rare for a company to pick up a dvd set in the middle of production but you never know. BTW The excuse for not doing season 3 so far has been that not enough people got season 1 and 2 however not one single store in my area sold those dvd sets I had to go online to amazon to get them. How can we buy them if no one sells them

They already did except they stopped short at releasing season 3 which FUCKS me off. I got the mini series and season 1 and 3. Its the only good series since Beast Wars and they didnt finish it on home release!
