The A-Lister Of B-Movies
We’re thrilled to announce that we have joined forces with the venerable Roger Corman to release over 50 highly sought-after films under the series title Roger Corman’s Cult Classics. The first releases in the series come in May with the Ramones classic Rock ’N’ Roll High School (on DVD and Blu-ray) and Suburbia, featuring a very young Flea and performances by punk bands The Vandals, D.I. and T.S.O.L. These are followed in June by Death Race 2000 (DVD and Blu-ray) and a double feature of Warlords Of The 21st Century/Death Sport. We’re working closely with Mr. Corman to remaster the films and produce the best possible bonus features. Future titles include a Piranha Special Edition DVD and Blu-ray, a 30th Anniversary Special Edition DVD of Humanoids From The Deep, Up From The Depths, Demon Of Paradise, Forbidden World and Galaxy Of Terror, amongst others.

Parlez-Vous Français?
Oui? No. You won’t have to speak a lick of French to enjoy our upcoming The Madeline Movie: Lost In Paris DVD. This is Madeline’s first animated feature, inspired by the beloved classic series of books. The fun-filled movie includes five original songs and features the fantastique voice talents of Jason Alexander, Lauren Bacall, Christopher Plummer and Andrea Libman. The DVD will be out well before Bastille Day. Look for it April 13.

Marcus Welby Knows Best
We’ve been fortunate enough to release Seasons 1-4 of Father Knows Best, starring a 1950s-era Robert Young, and are now delving into his 1970s follow-up hit, Marcus Welby, M.D. The popular series—the #1 ranker was ABC’s first hit—centers on the Santa Monica-based doctor who actually makes house calls. The rock star of a GP shares his practice with the younger and more by-the-book Dr. Kilby, portrayed by James Brolin. Both actors earned Emmys® for their roles and went on to play these characters for seven seasons. Look for the first season in a 7-DVD set, which will include the original two-hour pilot movie “A Matter Of Humanities,” on May 4.

On The Road
Shout! artists with current and upcoming U.S. tour dates include Miles Kurosky, Rhett Miller, Marshall Tucker Band and Richard Thompson. Check their listings to see when they’re in a town near you.
