Baseball + Turkey = 2009 World Series DVD
It’s east coast domination this year for the 2009 World Series. The New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies match-up in Game 1 of the Fall classic tomorrow in New York, and, in a few short weeks, we’ll be delivering the official MLB World Series DVD and Blu-ray to retail. Due in stores around Thanksgiving, the DVD will showcase all the excitement of the winner’s championship run. Will the Phillies become the first team to repeat a winning streak since the Yankees in ’98-99-00, or will the Bombers lay claim to their 27th championship? More details in coming weeks!
This Is The Blurb For Garry’s Show
In the late 1980s, Garry Shandling helped redefine what a TV show could accomplish with his Showtime hit It’s Garry Shandling’s Show. The celebrated series often found Garry breaking the fourth wall by talking to his studio audience, and it was funny… very, very funny. The groundbreaking, mind-bending classic is ready for its close-up with the just-released Complete Series box set which includes all 72-episodes on 16 DVDs. We loaded it up with extras too, like six featurettes with the cast, crew and writers; episode outtakes; original promos; a 40-page book; 18 commentaries and more. So how do you like it so far? Revisit the infectious theme song here and check out the trailer. It doesn’t get much funnier than this! Catch Garry on Late Night With Conan O’Brien tonight on NBC.
