We just experienced our first-ever BOTCON and boy, was it exciting! This year’s event took place in Pasadena, which is just a short drive for some of us at Shout! The hall was filled with an international crowd, some wearing their own TRANSFORMERS costumes. There was so much enthusiasm for the new Shout! releases: The Complete First Season (3-DVD set) and The Matrix Of Leadership Edition (16-DVD set). We answered loads of questions, posed the box sets for lots of pictures and had a fun time, to boot. On Saturday night, the VIP fans were treated to a private party on the Paramount Pictures lot, which included appearances by TRANSFORMERS voice talent and film stars. Next up… Comic-Con ’09 and JOECON.
