Anybody else having problems loading their avatar? The site just won't let me load one, despite it meeting all of the size and format requirements. I'm on a Mac. Is this an issue??

RE: Avatars
Did you hit the checkbox for "Enable Avatar" and also make sure you were updating it by clicking "Save Changes"? I'm sure you are and all. Are you using Firefox or Safari?

Yes, I am enabling it. I'm using Safari. Think that has something to do with it?

It either has to do with Safari or something to Mac vs. PC...but that doesn't vchange the fact that it sucks.

Try uploading from a PC had see if you have better results.

Wow, has this really been an issue for going on THREE YEARS now??  C'mon guys, please fix it!  I've been trying to change my avatar for a while too...keeps saying to use only jpeg or gif, I've tried both, resized and re-formatted every which way from Tuesday and still no luck.  I'm on a PC running Firefox.

RE: Avatars

Looks like it finally allowed me to change it.  You need to click "Disable Avatar," Save Changes, THEN it lets you upload the new one.  Oh, and I used Explorer instead.  Hate having to revert to Explorer for little things like that...
