Donkey Kong Country
Any chance you guys planning on working on the Donkey Kong Country series that aired on Fox Kids back in 1996

I own these shows from Shout Factory: Sonic the Hedgehog the complete series, Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog season 1, Sonic Underground seasons 1 and 2, Mario Bros. 3 the complete series, Super Mario Bros. Super Show Seasons 1 and 2

RE: Donkey Kong Country
Brian has stated in a previous post

We're not sure about Donkey Kong Country.  The show is actually Nelvana's, an animation company in Canada.  The problem we've run into is that another company has the rights to distribute the first season, but haven't and don't seem to have plans to.  We're finding it difficult to wrap our heads around justifying releasing the series from season 2 on without the first season ever having been released.

Shout also released 'Sam & Max', which is a Nelvana property.  However, if another company has the rights to DK Season One, it may just be a waiting game until their arrangement expires and the rights are again up for grabs.

Yeah, once the rights to Season 1 expire for whichever company is currently in possession of them, it seems like a sure thing for Shout.  They seem to be having great success with video game adaptation TV shows (I frequently see "Only 1/2/3 left in stock--order soon--more on the way!" on Amazon for a lot of their titles, like Zelda and the Super Mario Bros. shows and whatnot).

RE: Donkey Kong Country
I hope like crazy this "waiting game" doesn't last long.  I'd love for Shout to obtain the rights to Donkey Kong Country.  I loved that show.  I'd love love LOVE for this to get a complete series box-set, or any kind of release for that matter.
