Now that we know....
I will admit, I wasn't very excited about the list of new episodes being released on Shout! Factory's first effort.  It didn't really live up to a 20th Anniversary billing, and other than "Laserblast", no episodes had any significance to the show's history.  But I look at the bigger picture, and realizing that SF is new to this market, the real proof will coming in subsequent releases.  If SF have quicker releases than Rhino, with episodes that are in demand and available to obtain rights to, then all will be forgiven for the poor start.

One man's "poor start" is another's treasure.  While there have been some complaints from a small number of folks, we've also actually been complimented widely for our selection.  I promise that we're looking in include a long line of great titles in the sets to come.  And we think you'll enjoy what this set has to offer, episode titles aside.

We're extremely happy with the final product, thus far.  Looking forward to more.

Well, I'm happy about the upcoming releases!  It's another chance for me to replace old, worn TV recorded video tapes with perfect working digital quality DVDs. Thanks, ShoutFactory and Best Brains!!

Well, I disagree.  I think the episodes are all desirable, and span the course of MST3K pretty well.  First Spaceship on Venus probably should have been replaced with ROCKETSHIP X-M, which was the first appearance of TV's Frank, but I hope to see that episode included in a future release.

I'm very pleased.  Thanks, Shoutfactory! :)

Now that there's been some space between now and then, I'd like to retract what I said before; I'm very pleased with the direction Shout! has been taking with MST3K, and now that July 7th can be considered "right around the corner", I am looking forward to Volume XV and can't wait to hear what's in store for XVI.  Brian, please accept my humble apology!

I am quite pleased with the sets. We also have to keep in mind that not all episodes will come out due to rights issues. July 7th is coming, Ive pre-ordered Volume 15, and knowing 16 will come in the 4th quarter this year PLUS a Tom Servo figuring is going to happen...
Thanks Shout :)
