To be honest, there just didn't seem to be much interest in the series on DVD. Children have so much to choose from now and Heathcliff, I believe, got lost somewhere in the shuffle.

People are more likely to take a chance on a show if it's only 5-10 dollars for a set vs 30-40. The trade-off is of course the lower quality, but at least it's nice to see the chances of more DiC shows getting released going up.
