RE: mario at the movies?
As I stated in my thread about Other DIC Partners, Dic licensed their shows to three companies.  N-Circle, Shout Factory, and their own distributing company Dic Entertainment.  To quote myself from that thread:

"ShoutFactory isn't the only company that has licences to Dic's shows.  One of the other major one's is  NCircle, they come out with dvd's that are reprints of old Dic Animation dvds (from Sterling Entertainment) or repackagings of Shout's dvd sets with just selected episodes and little bonus features.  Their sets include Sabrina the Animated series, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego (here is one of their dvds Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego: Into Maelstrom , Super Mario Bros Super Show (which contained some re-releases of the old Sterling dvds for exampe Super Mario Bros: Mario's Movie Madness), and recently trey re-released Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Christmas Blast.

Dic Entertainment is another company releasing dvds. Dic Entertainment is releasing every episode of Sonic Underground in 3-4 episode volume sets.  Also in July, like the Best of Heathcliff mentioned in a previous post, they are releasing an  Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog dvd called Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Fastest Thing in Time.  Judging by that title it contains the Chaos Emerald time travel saga.  Dic Entertainment also released a line of Super Mario Super Show dvds ( The Super Mario Bros: Once Upon a Koopa for example).

Sabrina the Animated Series: Witch in Training is an example of a re-release (like the Sonic Christmas Blast),   originally it was released by Sterling Entertainment under the Animation Station line of dvds.  In 2007 it was re-released by Ncircle with the same contents, the only thing different was the removal of the Animation Station logo from the top of the dvd case.  You can see the original dvd here and the re-release here.  This is the same with all the other re-releases.

As you can see Ncircle mostly deals with re-releasing the old Sterling line of dvds, while Dic has set up a group to release dvd's with episodes that never made it to dvd during the Sterling run.  ShoutFactory collects all the shows into one set (or the least amount of volumes) instead of single dvds..  If Shout can't finish the set like the Carmen Sandiego one, then Dic Entertainment comes out with the rest of the series on separate dvds completing the series.  So, maybe there is hope for some of those show that were never completed (if Dic Entertainment can stop producing re-packagings of already released episodes or episodes that will be available on future Shout sets, and stick to unreleased new episodes)."

I hope that answered your question.  That dvd was a N-Circle release of an old Sterling dvd from their Animation Station line.  I should know, I owned the original Animation Station version.  Though if the dvd does have Animation Station across the top, then I'm wrong and it is from the old Sterling line of dvds.  That is unlikely though, since Sterling hasn't produced anything for a good few years.

RE: mario at the movies?
As I mentioned Dic has licensed their properties out to multiple companies.  Here are two other dvds of Captain N containing a couple (I think 4 since that is usually the format) each.  Captain N: The Game Master - Adventures in Videoland is one released by Dic's own Dic Entertainment.  The other one is simply titled Captain N: The Game Master, and is released by N-Circle.  Each dvd is about $7 each, and contains repackings of episodes seen on Shout's Captain N The Game Master - The Complete Series, and Captain N and the New Super Mario World

Since Shout release all the episodes on dvd, there are not going to be any new episodes on these dvds.  Though there might be hope for Shout's unfinished sets.  Such as
The Very Best Of Sabrina - The Animated Series, Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, as well as Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats for certain examples.

We've already seen episodes released that were never on Shout's sets.  Such as
Heathcliff 2 Discs: Best/Town from Dic Entertainment, and N-Circle's Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Fastest Thing in Time.

I recently bought the Sonic dvd which contains the time traveling chaos emerald saga.  Ones that might be of interest though are the Super Mario ones.  Since Shout couldn't licsence all the live action segments, these segments might be on the single dvds.  The most likely ones for these to be on are the N-Circle releases, since they are remakes of the Sterling Animation Station.

As I mentioned Sterling's line was made a couple years ago, so they could have been able to licsened the segments back then.  That or sneak them on like they put out the Super Sonic dvd featuring episodes of Sonic SATAM without Disney's permission.  This caused the dvd to be pulled from shelves, I was lukcy to get one.

If they could sneak the Sonic dvd to store shelves without Disney's permision then they could have put the live action segments on their dvd releases.  Just to help my theory here is Super SonicYes N-Circle is putting out a re-release of the same dvd that was pulled from shelves when it first came out.

I give up.  To find the dvds mentioned in my post, go to amazon and copy them into the search bar to look them up.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

So does anybody know the episodes that are on the Best of Heathcliff?  Are all the episodes new to DVD?

RE: mario at the movies?
I doubt it.  When Shot decided to release The Legend of Zelda the Complete series, they decided to mix the Super Mario segment with set, this inclusion of the segmets was a bonus from Shout.  Since after all, Zelda appeared on Super Mario Super Show.  Now, N-Circle's releases are strictly focused on the show the dvd contains.  So, if  the dvd is foucused on the Zelda cartoons, that will be it, just the Zelda cartoons.
To be honest, I don't own any of the Zelda dvds from N-Circle.  But my hypothesis is based on previous releases from N-Circle compared to Shout's sets.  So I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

RE: mario at the movies?

do you think that either the Captain N: the Game Master-Adventures in Videoland or Captain N: the Game Master (N-Circle version) would have the "When Mother Brain Rules" episode? since we (the fans) didnt want to include that episode in the Complete Series dvd.

Update: ok i checked out amazon.com the Adventures in Videoland told me the 4 episodes that were in the package where as the other dvd has not been released yet so no clue what is included in the dvd so the basically answers my question. ive notice that there is another dvd that has 4 episodes from Captain N and the New Super Mario World, 2 episodes from Voltron and 2 episodes of Defenders of the Earth, but why waste time and money when you can get the complete series and CN&tNSMW box sets from shout. Amen to Shout.
