RE: News about DiC
I wonder if this could end the licensing of DIC programming to Shout.  Could be why we haven't heard much regarding future AoSTH volumes.

RE: News about DiC
You should probably still keep your petition going with the the plan to eventually submit it to Shout.  I am not sure if Shout would ever come right out and tell us that they are losing the DiC license.  However, considering they are smart business people, they probably prepared for something like this when they negotiated the rights for these TV shows.  I'd say keep up the fight, maybe there is some COPS fans over at Cookie Jar.  What is to become of Sonic? That is what I'd like to know.

You don't hear much talk about DiC anymore, but Cookie Jar has been pretty active on the cartoon scene in the last several years. I think DiC's properties are in great hands. I doubt they'll cancel any deals with Shout.

As long as I get my AoStH volumes 2 and 3, I'll be happy.

Ooh, hey Brian, if you talk with them about releasing shows, you should ask about a show called Spider Riders. ;) Surely there's someone in the world that liked that show besides me.

...anyone?

the way i see it i think it would give shout factory an oportunity to obtain new/more licences so they would be able to produce move dvd. its kinda like not losing a son but more so gaining a daughter (or vise versa).

I'm hoping this means we might see something out the DiC properties Shout doesn't currently hold, ie Heathcliff.

I was really saddened to hear that Shout isn't going to bring out the rest of Heathcliff.

I'm still going at it with the petition and I'm not going to stop until the whole series gets released. Right now, I'm up to 505 signatures on the petition. Gotta get more!

RE: News about DiC
Cookie Jar's merger with DiC won't really affect our licenses.  We will proceed as we have for the past few years.  Everything's cool.

Keep the petition going.  I have my fingers crossed!

Brian
