Member since: 2/10/2007 | | Sonic SATAM Returns | On the Sonic Fan site FUS (Fans United for Satam) Matthew Sullivan (story board artist for Simpsons and Family guy) has post new of a project he is going to pitch to a tv network. This project is noeother than Sonic The Hedgehog (Sonic SATAM).
Here is what he said word for word:
"As Rocky may or may not have mentioned to some of you, I'm a professional animator who's worked on a lot of cartoons. Too many to list, but if you've ever seen The SIMPSONS, THE GRIM ADVENTURES OF BILLY AND MANDY, or FAMILY GUY, you've seen some of my storyboard work. He's been referring to me as "MYSTERIOUS ANIMATOR X", but you can call me Matt ^-^
Rocky's been teasing you because I'm currently putting together a pitch that, if successful, would basically bring SATAM back from the dead ( Don't worry, it's not gonna be anything like SONIC UNDERGROUND. ) I feel compelled to say this is only a pitch. I have no guarantee of success, nor will I claim that I am some great Hollywood bigshot. The only thing I CAN tell you is that I'm a fan, and I want to see it done right. In other words, I'll do my best.
I'm sorry I don't have more development art to show you at the moment, but there's more coming in the next few days. In the meantime, I can show you some development artwork of my own animated film projects and assorted knicknacks. (This is more or less just to show you guys what I do ) Some of you may already know me."
And here is the first conceptual art he has made and posted on the forum:
