-MORE OF:
Quincy, M.E.
Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew
Night Gallery
-NOT RELEASED YET:
Ellery Queen
Snoop Sisters
Boris Karloff's Thriller
It would be wonderful if SHOUT! would pick up these titles that UNIVERSAL has apparently dropped

There was only 8 episodes plus the 90 minute pilot. If Universal isn't interested in releasing it, is there any chance this series could get a release through Shout? It did well in the ratings, but the demographics were older than what the network wanted. If this is a possibility for you, I would love to see the original cast and creators brought in for extras. This series is long-overdue for a DVD release. |

Shout, I would love to see you pick up "Quincy". And may I also suggest if you do continue where Universal left off, I would love to see at some point (maybe when the series is completed) the first two seasons re-issued. Universal released it on double-sided discs (which were problematic for a lot of people) and there were music substitution. A single-sided and music intact Seasons 1 & 2 along with the rest of the series unedited would be great to see from your company. Thanks.

Member since: 6/22/2008 | | RE: Universal properties of interest? | It's disappointing that season three of Quincy, ME hasn't yet been released on DVD. It was either this season or the next when Greg Morris from Mission: Impossible guest starred in what I think was a Halloween themed episode.
Another Universal stalled series on DVD I'd like to see released by Shout! Factory is Simon and Simon.
As for unreleased Universal series I'd like Shout! Factory to release the short lived Murder, She Wrote spin-off The Law and Harry McGraw and the 1973-74 show The Magician (which starred Bill Bixby) on DVD. |

There's a music disclaimer on the back. (Universal usually puts one if there is any changes in music; unlike with CBS/Paramount, you don't know what has been labeled is truly accurate). I read on another forum that there was some background music replacement (though it has been awhile since I read what specific changes they were).

Hopefully Universal will release the fourth season of Quincy, ME in the next few months. |
