Member since: 4/9/2007 | | RE: More info on The Real Ghostbusters dvd set.......26-disc complete set this fall!!!!! | | I am still wondering if the 26 discs will be spilt up into smaller sets......I have read that Time Life the company distributing this, or producing it or what have you, has been known to just from the start put out a complete set of a show without releasing smaller sets....but hey it might cost a pretty penny, but at least there wont be any waiting for years to get the complete set...I'm just glad were getting them. |

I reckon it will be about $200-$250 but worth every penny like trustkill01 at least we get every episode.
(i'm off to talk the wife into moving to the states) |

Amazon does sell their set, but it is trough private sellers meaning it is used. This could mean that in order to get The Real Ghostbusters we'd have to order straight through Time Life.

I dont know but if they just sold it through their website that would limit there selling opportunities, either way at least we are getting all the episodes of the real ghostbusters. |

It is a spoof on James Bond staring Don Adams (the Voice of Inspector Gadget) as Maxwell Smart. Many consider Inspector Gadget to be a combination of both Bionic Man and Get Smart. Get Smart's pilot was in black and white while the rest of the series was in color. If you have the money I would recommend getting this series. There was even a movie staring Don Adams as Maxwell Smart called the Nude Bomb, in which a terrorist group created a bomb that when set off destroyed all clothes.
