Other DIC Partners
I thought I'd post this so there would be less confusion on what DIC dvds to buy since there are many titles for the same cartoon.

ShoutFactory isn't the only company that has licences to Dic's shows.  One of the other major one's is  NCircle, they come out with dvd's that are reprints of old Dic Animation dvds (from Sterling Entertainment) or repackagings of Shout's dvd sets with just selected episodes and little bonus features.  Their sets include Sabrina the Animated series, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego (here is one of their dvds Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego: Into Maelstrom , Super Mario Bros Super Show (which contained some re-releases of the old Sterling dvds for exampe Super Mario Bros: Mario's Movie Madness), and recently trey re-released Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Christmas Blast.

Dic Entertainment is another company releasing dvds. Dic Entertainment is releasing every episode of Sonic Underground in 3-4 episode volume sets.  Also in July, like the Best of Heathcliff mentioned in a previous post, they are releasing an  Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog dvd called Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Fastest Thing in Time.  Judging by that title it contains the Chaos Emerald time travel saga.  Dic Entertainment also released a line of Super Mario Super Show dvds ( The Super Mario Bros: Once Upon a Koopa for example).

Sabrina the Animated Series: Witch in Training is an example of a re-release (like the Sonic Christmas Blast),   originally it was released by Sterling Entertainment under the Animation Station line of dvds.  In 2007 it was re-released by Ncircle with the same contents, the only thing different was the removal of the Animation Station logo from the top of the dvd case.  You can see the original dvd here and the re-release here.  This is the same with all the other re-releases.

As you can see Ncircle mostly deals with re-releasing the old Sterling line of dvds, while Dic has set up a group to release dvd's with episodes that never made it to dvd during the Sterling run.  ShoutFactory collects all the shows into one set (or the least amount of volumes) instead of single dvds..  If Shout can't finish the set like the Carmen Sandiego one, then Dic Entertainment comes out with the rest of the series on separate dvds completing the series.  So, maybe there is hope for some of those show that were never completed (if Dic Entertainment can stop producing re-packagings of already released episodes or episodes that will be available on future Shout sets, and stick to unreleased new episodes).

RE: Other DIC Partners
Will Dic Entertainment or NCircle ever release more Inspector Gadget episodes on DVDs or can FOX only release more Inspector Gadget episodes on DVDS?

RE: Other DIC Partners
Fox is releasing more Inspector Gadget episodes, unfortunately they are only single dvd sets.  The first one being Inspector Gadget: Big Little Problem available for pre-order at amazon at one point but was removed then added again as "Emailed to be notified".  This set is said to have episodes 72, 73, and 81 (thus not being a direct set after Shout's).

As for Dic Entertainment, they haven't released any Inspector Gadget set's directly (all their sets were licensed out).

Sterling Entertainment has released a couple set under the Animation Station brand.  The biggest collection of episodes being the dvd Inspector Gadget - The Gadget Files.  Another dvd was the special Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas, which contained a few single episodes as bounus features (unfortunately both sets are pretty rare so they can't be bought cheap).

At some point Dic licensed the rights of Inspector Gadget to other studios for mini movies.  For example
Inspector Gadget's Last Case - Claw's Revenge from MGM and the recent Inspector Gadget's Biggest Caper Ever (Gadget's first fully CGI cartoon).

Though I have spotted on Ebay.com.au a set of Inspector Gadget dvds that is region two port of Shout's set.  Also They seem to have up two 3 set available.
These sets are put out from Mnaga Pacific as Inspector Gadget Box Set  1, Inspector Gadget Box Set 2, Inspector Gadget Box Set 3.

Just remember those sets are region two.  Then also from Sterlin is the Gadget Boy series.  Gadget Boy Saves the World is the only one that they released.  Ncircle is releasing it under the same name  Gadget Boy: Gadget Boy Saves the World.  Also Ncircle is releasing a dvd called Gadget Boy And Heather, which is part of the same Gadget Boy Series.  Finally Dic entertainment is releasing a Gadget Boy dvd as well called  Gadget Boy: Along Came a Spydra.

Then in the UK there are the releases of Gagetinis.  Three dvds were released so far of the series yet all have the same episodes.
Jetix Films has two dvds both with the same name Gadget And The Gadgetinis Vol.1  Saviours Of The World, the only difference is the second one is a pre-order.  Then from Maximum Entertainment the same episodes on a dvd with a slightly different title Gadget And The Gadgetinis - Volume One.  Finally there is a second volume coming out from Jetix films.

That is a near complete list of Inspector Gadget DVDs and their publishers.  Hope it helps.

RE: Other DIC Partners
Going through my collection of Dic dvds I found another company that Dic used to deal with, I think.  At one point Lions Gate was releasing dvds based on Dic's library.  Their dvds were the best releases before Shout came along.  I owned their Super Sonic dvd, which is now being re-released by N-Circle.  Their dvds could be recognized by the a picture of Inspector Gadget as well as the logo Dic's Easy Play DVD on the top of the dvd.

Super Sonic was pulled from store shelves soon after its release, since Lion's Gate never got authorization to release the title from Disney.  I'm pretty sure their other dvds suffered the same fate.   Super Sonic was a  great addition to any  Sonic Satam fan 's dvd  library.  Not only did it contain the episodes Super Sonic, Sonic and Sally, Sonic Racer, and Sonic Boom, but it had an unlockable episode.

In the special features menu there is a trivia game with questions based on the Sonic Satam universe.  If you answer the questions correctly, you unlocked Sonic and the Secret Scrolls.  This was the first release of Sonic the Hedgehog Satam on Dvd, done in limited quantity.   I like those who got it, had to buy it quickly to before it started getting pulled from shelves.

I'm the dude with the attitude, my shiny blue quills, and power red shoes.
