Heathcliff: The Best of Heathcliff DVD
I noticed that Shout has a new Heathcliff DVD coming out in July.  What are the episodes on the set?  With two DVD releases in 2007 and now at least two for 2008, will we see all the episodes eventually released on DVD?  I know it has been said on here that the first 4 disc volume set didn't sell as well as they would have liked, but I do hope at the very least that these new sets contain episodes not previously released on DVD, so that the show will eventually be completed.

If you mean this set The Best Of Heathcliff.  This set isn't being made by Shoutfactory.  It's being made by Dic entertainment.  Either that or their other partenr Ncircle (though usally Amazon would say Ncircle while the Amazon page just says Dic Entertainment).

Yeah, I noticed that when doing some more searching.  I hope someone from Shout can post and say if Heathcliff is now back totally in DIC's hands or if Shout still maintains some rights.

Shout! Factory no longer has the rights to Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats.

RE: Heathcliff: The Best of Heathcliff DVD

I just had to sign up and post this:

I recently bought the Heathcliff season 1 DVD, and it's awesome.  I had the Heathcliff Movie when I was really young, and I watched it so much the tape actually wore out.

As such, I bought this set immediately when I saw it in the store, and I'm extremely happy with it.  It really makes me sad that the rest of the series probably isn't going to come out, or that if someone else does pick up the license they probably won't treat it nearly as well as Shout did.

I'll definitely look into some of Shout's other releases, though Heathcliff is my favourite.

Is there any chance at all that Shout might pick the Heathcliff license back up in the future?
