This show is really fun. All the jokes and puns revolve around the early days of video games and the companies that created them (like Atari, Colecovision, the fate of the Atari ET cartridge and other video companies and video game related items). Due to this some jokes might go over some people's heads, but if you are a true veteran or know a little about the history of video gaming this show is perfect for you (but be warned Code Monkey's is a mature show not suitable for little kids). I can't wait to pick this up. Than's again Shout for another great selection for a future box set. |

It was a show I was previously unfamiliar with, since I don't often watch G4, but having seen the complete first season, I'm hooked. And the 2-disc DVD set is turning out to be an equally hefty treat, packed full of cool stuff. We've got games, original promos, some hilarious behind-the-scenes stuff shot by creator and star Adam de la Pena... It's gonna be awesome!
