Samurai Pizza Cats

I've been wondering if Shout would give any possible consideration of releasing (or at least getting the rights to release) a Pizza Cat box set(s) in the new future? I really enjoyed it on account of the sheer randomness of the scripts...its kind of a drag that episodes are hard to find and there are countless bootlegs about. Anyhow, any consideration or info would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. looking forward to the upcoming Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors set.

I know there was a one volume release from a dubious company called "Jade Entertainment", with five random episodes.

Id love to see shout factory release this show.

From what I've read, theres mixed veiws on whether that one Jade volume is a legit release or not. I think its leaning towards a bootleg.

At the moment, the fans are getting the French releases and have to use audio from old Austrailian tapes to get their fix but there hasn't been a proper release (I don't count Jade Entertainment to be DVD company). There are still quite a few fans left of the show (personally I haven't seen or I have seen it but since it was too long ago I can't remember it) and it will always be remembered for the anime show with the least accurate dub (due to that the company didn't gave Saban any scripts or anything - just the masters to work from) but treats it like a new show.

I'm all for Shout being releasing it.

It's definetly known for that to say the least. With that in mind (if it should ever happen at all), if they could get a hold of some of the writers and/or voice actors to expand on that, it'd make for good commentary or bonus footage in my opinion.

Tony Oliver was the story editor, and he still does work on anime in LA heavily.

This was one of the topics I was hunting for here.  I'd definitely love to see a release of that show.  It's one of those shows that I used to watch all the time when I was a kid (even though I didn't get most of the humor back then).

Well, in my older and wiser years, I had the fortune to come across a few episodes, and I have to say, I didn't even realize how hilarious the show was.  I would love to see a release of this one on DVD.

One other thing.  If you could, try to get a petition going for the show.  Sometimes it helps get the ball rolling.  I'm only saying this because it really helped to get SatAM on DVD.  That and the fact that Brian Ward is just awesome.
