more 80's and 90's cartoons and shows

I think these shows  amd cartoons would be good choices to put on dvd.  I mean these are things we grew up watching and there wasn't half as many problems with kids back then.  There choices that adults can share with their children and relive moments.

Muppet babies,  My pet monster,  David the Gnome,  hey dude,  salute your shorts,  kids incorporated,  kid songs,  zoobilee zoo, eureekas castle,  small wonder,  count duckula,  the noozles, the wuzzles,  rugrats,  doug,  the elephant show,  todays special,  turbo teen,  the go bots,  pacman,  mr. wizards world,  dinosaucers,  popeye and son,  little rosie,  belle and sebastian,  fantastic max,  bobbys world,  the shirt tales,  teen wolf, back to the future,  richie rich,  pound puppies,  camp candy,  lazer tag academy,  the flinstone kids,  and just the ten of us.  To be continued.......

RE: more 80's and 90's cartoons and shows
Back to the Future is rumored to be coming to dvd according to tvondvd (which is a very reliable source).  Richie Rich has already been announced and can be pre-ordered.  Pac-Man has been green lighted by warner and is due sometime this year or next.  In fact this article (even though it is a little out of date) contains great insight of upcoming releases from warner.

Unfortunately I would have little hope for Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts.  As we've seen with previous Nickelodeon live action dvd releases (all old catalog titles ex. Clarissa Explains it All and Pete and Pete)  they don't get past a first set.  The only show to get far is the Canadian release of Are You afraid of the Dark.

As for Rugrats and Doug you might have a little more luck.  Actually, there are collections of Nickelodeon shows that contain episodes from these shows like the Nick Pick vols and Rugrats - Decade In Diapers (there are others as well).

Count Duckula is also available already as a complete first season set.

Teen wolf I heard was going to be released at some point on DVD. I'll have to double check.

Muppet Babies will never be released due to some much copyrighted material it would cost billions to use the small clips. The Nick stuff I don't really know except the Nick Rewind thing was a disaster but Rugrats possibly be the likely candiate since it is quite popular like SpongeBob now.

The rest would be done in a list:

Count duckula - released on DVD in both UK and US.

Turbo teen - WB has rights but will they release it? It could take a few years for a possiblity.

The go-bots - Hasbro has the rights to the toys but... doubt it will be released if they can't release Transformers and MASK.

Pacman - It's coming next year by WB.

Dinosaucers - Last time I heard about this show was all of the masters were destroyed so if that is true then never.

Popeye and son/Flintstone Kids - Wait 6 years/3 years.

Richie Rich - coming on DVD by Warner Bros.

RE: more 80's and 90's cartoons and shows

Actually I forgot to post this in my previous statement.  I think read somewhere that the Flintsone Kids were the most likely candidate to be released after the Pebbles and BamBam Show that is being released Mar 18, 2008.   It was either that or the Flintstone Comedy Hour.  Given the Hanna Barberra Classics release schedule whichever set it is won't appear until late this year or early next.

As I stated above in and through my link.  Richie Rich is available through pre-order as The Richie Rich/Scooby Doo Hour vol 1.  The set has 7 episodes from the series (as stated on tvondvd).  This set, like the Dynomut/Scooby Doo Hour, contains a new Scooby Doo Series (the one that introduces Scrappy.  While the Dynomutt on was the New Scooby Doo Show) compared to Scoob Doo Where are You.

Actually, only the first season (26 episodes) of Count Duckula has been released in the U.S.  The complete series (65 episodes) was released in the U.K.  We're still waiting to hear any news on the rest of it here...  :(
