Propem with 'Swamp Thing: the series' dvds

I had recently purchased this series from a local Wal-Mart and found that theres was a problem with the first disc (havent checked the others) seems that at first it stops the player instead of going to main menu requiring me to git play to start ( which starts from begining of first episode)

then when it gets to the fourth episode it freezes jusr after the opening credits and if left alone (wont let you do anythign else) it goes to the episode list, i should also note it wont let me play the 5th episode either.

now i had returned teh set to walmart and got an esxchange for the same thing and the same problem popped up. i tried for a refund but the store policy wont allow it, only an exchange for the same product so i tried again.

now the 3rd set has teh same exact problem as teh first 2 so thats 3 sets in a row with teh same issue.

is there anyone i can talk to to see about getting a refund?

This is an odd problem, Grimreaper. We've not had any other complaints about Disc 1 (or any of the other four, for that matter). It honestly sounds like a compatibility problem with your DVD player. Or it's possible that your player thinks it should resume the disc from where it was last played.

Sadly, we can't give refunds here, as we're not set up for that kind of retail. We also don't have product in-house for occasions like these. I can only say that I am quite certain that there are no universal problems with Swamp Thing.
