James Bond Jr.

I was wondering who owns the rights to the James Bond Jr. cartoon tv show?  Is it MGM?  I'm waiting for the show to be released on DVD.

RE: James Bond Jr.

Sony/Broccoli Family own the Bond series in general, but Fred Wolf made the series.

I think it would be Lionsgate (who did TMNT) or Sony (under the MGM banner) if it does get released (highly doubt though).

RE: James Bond Jr.

Apparently Sony Wonder now owns the rights to the show. I doubt it will ever come to DVD because it wasn't that popular. People prefer the Bond films. Some people even sometimes just want to leave things in the past.

Did you watch '100 Greatest Cartoons' which aired at night on Sunday the 27th of February 2005 on channel 4? James Bond Jr wasn't shown because it wasn't that popular; that's even why they showed that documentary that night. The show might never even come to DVD until 2009 or 2010, due to it not being that popular.
