Member since: 2/6/2008 | | MST3K!! | | Such amazing news!! Rhino has done a nice job for years, but Shout Factory does such high volume that maybe this will be an even better fit... Whatever you do, let's all keep the faith in MST3K and buy 'em up as quick as they hit the shelves...
To the powers that be, a few requests of later episodes (they seem to be easier to get rights to?) that need -- nay,m demand! -- to be released on DVD:

I'm hoping that Shout Factory will be more successful securing movie rights, maybe even from the big players (Lions Gate, Universal, etc.). |

Member since: 2/29/2008 | | RE: MST3K!! | | As cool as it would be to get movie rights from the big companies, I'm thinking Shout should concentrate on the public domain episodes for now. Not only are they cheaper (making the show more profitable to Shout), but there's less of a chance of rights issues getting the sets discontinued, which happened over and over with Rhino. |
