1. Tom Waits "Ol' '55" - obv.

2. Prince "Little Red Corvette" - Prince is the man.  For reals.

3. Van Halen "Panama" - Reportedly written after the band read a negative review stating that all they sang about were fast women and fast cars.  They thought that sounded like a good idea, so they wrote one. 

4. Gary Numan "Cars" - Unlike most things from the 80s, still sounds Awesome (that's right, capital "A").

5. Billy Ocean "Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" - Mostly because I can't hear it without thinking of a young Heather Graham being courted by Corey Haim in License To Drive.  Was there a better decade to grow up in than the 80s?
