Member since: 6/7/2011 | | More Cartoons from the 80's on DVD? | So we finally got Jem and the Holograms in its entirety! Now I'd love to see more 80's cartoons on DVD in a complete set. I'd love to own...
The Popples
Pac-Man
Pound Puppies
Dink: The Little Dinosaur
Rainbow Brite (The UK recently got a complete series dvd release, I'd love to see one for the US too!)
Mighty Orbots
Moon Dreamers
Would there be any chance for these shows to get a DVD release from Shout? |

Update : Looks like the scheduled timeframe for release was early 2011, so not sure what the hold up is. Here's the link...

Retail isn't buying much in the way of cult TV series anymore. I could see a series like Rainbow Brite doing some business. But some of those others are going to get lost in the shuffle. I don't think their fan base is large enough to GUARANTEE a minimum of 15,000-30,000 sales.

Rainbow Brite is probably the most popular of them all. But the others I'd completely understand even though I'd definitely buy them all. Anyway, still gonna cross my fingers for somebody to release them. |
