LOU GRANT
Am I the only one that thinks this show needs a DVD release? I know it's on Hulu, but c'mon--a nice box set with extras? That's what this show deserves. Now.

RE: LOU GRANT
Rupert Murdoch owns it. It'll never see the light of day.

RE: LOU GRANT
http://www.closinglogos.com/page/MTM+Home+Video , for one -- I just did a Google search for "MTM home video rights." After Grant Tinker left to head up NBC, MTM was first sold to a British group, who later sold it to Pat Robertson's company, who sold it to a joint venture of Saban and Fox Home Video. Saban later withdrew from that partnership, leaving Fox as the owner. And there it sits. I don't know how you get sales figures for the Mary or Rhoda shows, but I'd guess that they are key to why Fox doesn't seem interested in doing anything with these shows (except cheap sales to cable companies like American Life and Family Network).
