Just got this in the mail today. The packaging says "1.78:1 Enhanced for 16x9 Television" - but the picture is clearly just 1.33:1 (4:3) missing picture on the sides, clearly 4:3 masters were used. Also the running time on the discs and packaging are completely messed up (14.5 hours?, 176 minutes for 4 episodes)? However that could easily be excused if the aspect ratio were correct.
If you go to the dark places of the internet you get 720p 16:9 with subtitles, if you go the honest route you get 480i 4:3 with no subtitles. Very disappointing. Will there be an exchange program? |
