Coleman Francis Trilogy
I would LOVE to have a set of the Coleman Francis trilogy. While "Skydivers" is available uncut on the Vol. 1 boxset, and "Beast of Yucca Flats" is in the public domain, I would love to purchase a DVD set including the not-on-DVD, "Red Zone Cuba", especially with any kind of special features that could be made **cough** Frank Conniff commentary **cough**!! Anyone else agree? Or am I just a masochist, wanting to burn my eyes out with endless viewings of Cherokee Jack?

Yes, I definitely agree.  I enjoyed Frank's commentary in the Abbott & Costello boxed set I picked up a while back (I mentioned that to him when I went to see Cinematic Titanic and he said nobody'd ever said that to him before) and I believe he'd be great.  I was lucky(?) enough to find "Red Zone Cuba" on VHS a long time ago  (there was an Anthony Cardoza website and it was for sale there - I don't think the site's up anymore), but anyway, it'd be so cool to see it on DVD.

Well, it's nice to know that SOMEONE else would be down for such a thing. I have a VHS rip of Red Zone Cuba, but I'd love to see them all together in a little restored set on DVD, and I'm sure Frank would be down to say something about them. He seems to have a great fascination (as I do) for Coleman Francis and his trilogy of films. Also, thanks for telling me about those Abbott and Costello commentaries! I had no idea those existed. I'll have to pick those DVDs up.

His commentary is on the movie "Who Done It?" in the "Abbott & Costello - The Complete Universal Pictures Collection" boxed set.

Awesome! Thanks. Yeah I loved Abbot & Costello when I was a kid, used to own them all on VHS, so I'll definitely have to pick up that boxset. I want it even more, now that I know that Frank's on them!

RE: Coleman Francis Trilogy

My fav was always "...Meet Frankenstein," and I always liked "...Meets Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" 'cause I'm a huge Karloff fan.

A triple feature DVD set with the MST3K episodes and the uncut movies. BEAST had nudity. Maybe get Mike, Kevin, and Bill for a little featurette about Francis and the cult status he's developed, but didn't live to see.
