This would definitely fall onto the short list of 'above reproach' episodes. At least, for most of us. Like "Manos", "Pod People" (nothing to do with pods, nothing to do with people) is among the group of 31 episodes that have been picked up by Shout! for the iTunes store. Given that, it's definitely not unreasonable that it could be chosen as a future 'Special Edition'. They seem to be working these Shout! Selects and the one 'SE' from that list of 31 ep's, thus far anyway.

Pod People, one of the earliest MST episodes ever to be released on VHS, was, as I think everyone will agree, one of the most popular episodes of the show. The original movie was actually a French/Spanish co-production and it was released in an absolutely terrible, fuzzy transfer on DVD ages ago. Any chance "Shout" would want to put that one out all cleaned up and with maybe the original language tracks as an option? Just another idea for a "special edition," but I really was hoping somebody out there would care enough about the movie to find the original elements and release a nice print of it.
