 Member since: 2/8/2007 | | Cardcaptors | | Since Shout Factory is starting to do Nelvana shows. Another show that might make a good DVD release is Cardcaptors. That show used to be on Kids WB from 2000-2002. Except the problem with this show is that the episodes were aired completely out of order and some episodes didn't air in the US at all. I don't know if Nelvana ever dubbed all the episodes but maybe Shout Factory could release this show on DVD. |

 Member since: 7/27/2007 | | RE: Cardcaptors | I overlooked and forgot to mention that Geneon owns the rights to CCS (as well as Cardcaptors,the unpopular dub to CCS); Geneon USA went under, and due to this unfortunate turn of events, they will no longer be distributing DVDs (that applies to all of their licenses) after November 6th of this year. So, that means that they are probably going to need third parties to distribute their licenses for them. Perhaps Shout! Factory can look into that.
Geneon also currently holds other popular licenses such as Trigun. Can you imagine if S!F got their hands on that? It could be a cash cow for them. |
