When shout eventally if they ahve nto jsut now choose a format to go with, is thre any chance of the better selling shows that we might see a remastering of the shows into high defintion full screen not widescreen and released in hd? |

 Member since: 1/20/2007 | | RE: High Defintion | | I doubt many shows would look better on HD, most cartoons would look the same or even worse to DVD to be honest. The only thing that would look better is anything made 5 years ago to present unless they are films or Looney Tunes. |

 Member since: 1/12/2007 | | RE: High Defintion | Not entirely true. Animation, usually, won't benefit from HD remastering, though there have been some notable exceptions. Until there's a clear-cut winner in the format war, I can't see Shout! Factory committing to one or the other. Besides, there's nothing for us to release outside of maybe Freaks & Geeks or the upcoming My So-Called Life, and we hate to double dip, so I doubt we see any HD box sets anytime soon.
