No more excuses they didn't sell well since you only need to manufacture what you sell. And since the other dvd releases had no remastering or extras it would be straightforward.
If you want a certain Disney show put out why not send an email out to let them know what you want to see:

So in theory the MOD program Disney has just rolled out and very quietly at that they could release anything they wanted in their library, Disney Afternoon shows like GummiBears, Ducktales Gargoyles etc. They could release Marvel stuff, Saban stuff, anything at all through this " Disney Generations Collections " line. Right now they only released three MOD titles, all movies, they sell them through the Disney online shop and also partnered with Amazon to sell them on there. Here is a example of the Logo and Color Scheme that is on each title:
http://www.amazon.com/Amy-Jenny-Agutter/dp/B0058ICRFA/ref=sr_1_2?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1310423542&sr=1-2
It doesn't seem like they took in any fan input to release the three MOD sets so far but us the fans should contact them and let them know what we'd like to see. After all, we are the consumers who create the demand, if you do a MOD program you should release stuff people will buy which they felt cannot sell as much in general retail as they'd like but MOD as I said before is no excuse, hardly any risk since you just manufactured what is ordered.
If anyone else can find a main Disney email address we can all email to, we could at least let them know which titles they should release in the future.

Obviously disney got their head out of their asses and realized that they can sell small following shows on demand and make a decent buck. I also like that they have teamed with mazon. I hate how warner brothers only ships to the States and not here in Canada. Annd when a set is finnaly on amazon its usually more money than it was from wb site.

Might make it easier for Disney to release it now that they no longer have to deal with Saban for the music rights.
Haim Saban's buy-back of Power Rangers only included similar shows that used fight footage from Japanese live action series. This includes VR Troopers (the sister show to Power Rangers), Big Bad Beettle Borgs, Masked Rider (spung off from season 3 of Power Rangers) and this is only rumor but they are said to have Mystic Knights as well. |

Member since: 1/29/2007 | | RE: Disney finally enters the Manufacturing on Demand market. | Disney's output of their original programming from The Disney Channel and the former Disney Afternoon is at best, very poor (often times edited), add burn on demand into the mix and you're just asking for trouble. It would have been courteous if person or persons responsible for this would have given me the heads up first before adding Flash Forward (1996), knowing full well the efforts of fans directed at Shout! here, and the possibility of a different indie distributor looking into it. This explains the voting stand still on TVShowsOnDVD (still under 1,000+ votes), which has Walt Disney Home Entertainment as a placeholder. Who exactly do I yell at for putting this all together?

My TV channel stopped doing reruns of the show since the last day of June. Member since: 6/7/2011 | | RE: Disney finally enters the Manufacturing on Demand market. | | Sorry this is so long! For some reason the forums won't let me space everything out. Anyway, I hope Disney will put out all of their shows on DVD. I was a really big Disney Buff back in the 90's and I still am today. I'd like to see all the shows I watched as a kid complete on DVD such as Bonkers, Marsupilami, Goof Troop, The New Adventures of The Little Mermaid, Blazing Dragons, Peter Pan and the Pirates, Lilo & Stitch The Series (As far as I know, the series has only gotten a complete DVD release in Japan), Pepper Ann, House of Mouse, 101 Dalmations, Aladdin: The Animated Series, The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa, The Mighty Ducks, Hercules The Animated Series, The Wuzzles, Bug Juice, Donald Duck Presents, Quack Pack, Donald's Quack Attack,
Series I'd like Finished: TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers
TV Films: Fluppy Dogs, DuckTales: Time is Money, Super DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers: To the Rescue, TaleSpin: Plunder and Lightning, Happy Holidays with Darkwing Duck and Goofy, Zenon: Girl of 21st Century, Zenon The Zequel, Luck of the Irish, Paper Bridage, My Date With the President's Daughter, Paper Brigade, The 13th Year, Alley Cats Strike, Johnny Tsunami (only available on AUS DVD).
Something tells me that we won't get to see every single series on DVD but I'll be happy if most of them will.

Just don't expect J. Jonah Jameson in that movie, because he might appear in the SECOND movie (or in a Post-Credits scene). And Ed Asner was great as the voice of J. Jonah Jameson, even though Jameson is STILL a spider-hating dick, and MAYOR of New York City in the comics! "You want it cooked, or raw?" |

Is it just me, or is Disney hinting an uncut release of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas in their new movie promotions?
