| Not sure of the Canadian rights/content, but with Da Vinci's in syndication in the US and elsewhere for past few years (City Hall appended to the 7-season run of Inquest to make 8 seasons/104 episodes in rotation), could a series release be possible/doable? Acorn has released Seasons 1-3 only, with what looks like no plans for remainder (last release was 2009 for Season 3).
For the fans of shows like CSI, Law and Order, etc, Da Vinci's is in the same spirit but with writing, characterization and story lines like none of the other to come later. Got to experience the live run of the show starting in 1998 when living in NY (Canada's CBC aired) and survive on late Sunday night syndicated runs through Program partners. Hopes this picks up some comments, feedback and support. |
