What bands do you listen to?
Oh man, I get to start this off here at Shout! huh?

Alright... lemme see..
I listen to alot of the rock music genre.
Lately, I have been stuck listening to the album "The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance. Which I think has some really great music in there.

I also listen to Papa Roach, Yellowcard, Hoobastank, Panic! At the Disco, and All American Rejects.

Of course there are alot more, but I don't simply want to label them. You all can put what else there is to help get this discussion going.

What can I say? I'm a Fleetwood Mac fan, first and foremost, though I like a lot of classic rock. And yes, that now seems to include the 80s. God, I'm getting old...

We're all getting old. You're just older.

And there's no shame in liking 80s music. (So long as we don't publicly admit it). In my opinion, female musicians dressed better and had better hair int he 80's. They had that frizzy haird, cool jacket wearing, sholuder pad packin' April O'Neil thing going on.

I also like listenin to some 80's music, since I grew up listening to some of them during the 90's.

One of the ones I listened to was Chicago.

Man... been a while since I last posted here. :)

One of my favorite bands of today are

My Chemical Romance. Their latest album "The Black Parade" is definitely something to really listen to.
Franz Ferdinand is also another one of my favorites too.

RE: What bands do you listen to?
Hmmm.... I see a lot of the rock genre coming through here.  Not that that is bad!  I enjoy rock very much, although I tend to be more along the lines of what Brian is into.  Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, James Taylor.  But I do like a lot of today's stuff too:  Panic! At The Disco, Kanye West, yes even some Christina Aguilera and some Pink now and then.  I tend to like catchy pop of ANY era.  Squeeze, The Lovin' Spoonful, Hootie and the Blowfish, Katy Perry... it's all fun, and all very quickly forgetten by most.

Very into some of my local artists as well: Jon Troast, Peter Mulvey, Julie Moffitt, Martha Berner, The Bad Examples, Middle 8... I could spend HOURS and many keystrokes listing them all.

One of my all time favorites is Heart, and I'm glad to see that Shout! has the Dreamboat Annie Live release.  Now I'm gonna have to pick it up....
