I have a proposal for SHOUT! Factory: in honor of its 25th anniversary, it is my suggestion that SHOUT!, as part of its Nickelodeon deal, make a deal with Nickelodeon for SHOUT! to release a brand-new DVD compilation titled "Double Dare: 25th Anniversary Edition," showcasing 24 full-length episodes featuring some of the most memorable moments in "Double Dare" history complete, uncut, & unedited, as originally aired on the Nickelodeon Television Network.
Episode requests for "Double Dare: 25th Anniversary Edition" shall include the following:
1. Bangles vs. Wizards (1st broadcast episode)
2. Express vs. High Flyers (1st taped episode)
3. Jetsons vs. Dynamic Duo (host Marc Summers is pied all over after a successful Obstacle Course win)
4. Mad Mountaineers vs. Chowderheads (Marc is attacked with pies, also features a 1-second Obstacle Course win)
5. Hollywood & Vine vs. Wacky Weasels (celebrity week episode featuring Candace Cameron & Jeremy Miller)
6. Bayside Bombers vs. Chargers (celebrity week episode featuring Josie Davis & Jerry Suprian)
7. Public Enemies vs. Illegal Eagles (celebrity week episode featuring David Faustino & Staci Keanan)
8. Hour-long Tournament of Champions finale from 1992
16 more episodes shall also be included, besides the 8 mentioned above, on a 3-disc collection with 8 episodes per disc.
To coincide with the actual anniversary on October 6, 2011, it's my suggestion that the DVD be released 2 days early, on October 4, 2011, at a cost of just $19.99 wherever DVDs are sold.

I really hope Mr. Brian Ward can make this happen. Maybe he could also include some episodes of Family Double Dare too. I know that I would definately buy it because I am a huge fan of Double Dare and I would really love to have this AMAZING set in my collection.  |
