Since the series was only aired once on CBS, I would say that the master quality would be quite high (if they still exist that is). However since this didn't get any reruns (except Space Ace).... who knows what happened to it?
(I do know that CBS would still have the masters as they had the masters to the 1977 intro of the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show with the Hour audio which they gave to WB).
Actually I just remembered that when Mario.Nintendo.com first launched like a few years ago they had a section that tells about Mario's history and it mentions Mario's appearance on Saturday Supercade, SMBSS, and the SMB movie and it had a screenshot of Mario from Saturday Supercade. I wounder if they used one of the master copies to post that image on that site. You can't see it now since it's been replaced with the New Super Mario Bros game page but yeah they had that on there.
hey there i must say i have .. well imn ot sure but i have 6 16mm film reels of the donkey kong cartoons and donkey kong jr cartoons ther eon six reels and seem to be in great condition.. so i wonder if im able to help in gettign them started in.gettign them up and going not sure i would love to to see the saturday supercade out on dvd .. if they wanna reach me they can i have them sitting in my room on cool place .. i have had offers for them thru the past 3 years lol its crazy i was offered 7,000 in the beginin of hte year but i turned them down due to i love to see htem turned around na put out on dvd .. but if they want to contact me and talkt o me my email is jammer232001@yahoo.com ... hope they do to be honest
