Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers is an iconic show of the 1990s that is lacking a complete series release. I understand the early/best seasons of the show were released in Germany but we really need to see this show released over here. If Disney's ownership of the show is up then I hope this is something Shout! looks into. |

Member since: 1/7/2011 | | RE: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers | I'm not going to bother looking it up, so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that all of the seasons of Power Rangers were released on complete DVD sets in one way or another, whether they be those German sets, another set of European releases (UK releases? That may be wrong but I do recall some of the later seasons being released in Europe that weren't the German ones), or the one season that was actually completely released in Region 1 that was separated into five volumes (Operation Overdrive).
At one point in my life I would have considered buying every season if it were made available, but now, I would only buy certain seasons, because some of them are just terrible, and since every season after Lost Galaxy is mainly composed of storylines that are self-contained, it's not important to watch the bad ones to know what's going on. I would for sure buy all three seasons of Mighty Morphin', Zeo (my all-time favorite), Ninja Storm, and Dino Thunder. And since they are connected to Mighty Morphin' and Zeo, I would probably buy Turbo and in Space if I found them for the right price. |

Saban Brands is apparently going to be uploading the episodes onto YouTube. They have already begun sending out C&D orders to anyone who has Power Rangers episodes uploaded to their channels. |
