It would be nice for us as fans to be able to add the episodes to our collections. Especially the "Operation Dragon Fire" mini series. So dose Shout! have the rights to this title? If so do you think it will ever get put on DVD?

Member since: 6/2/2009 | | RE: DIC G.I.*JOE B.Ward? | Transformers fans are getting both Beast Wars, and the Takara seasons. Shout needs to balance the scales and give G.I. Joe fans some of the series we are missing on DVD:
DIC - 2 seasons, 44 eps total.
SGT. SAVAGE & HIS SCREAMING EAGLES - 1 ep total. This was a 30 minute, direct to video episode that was included on a VHS tape with select Sgt. Savage figures.
EXTREME - 2 seasons, 26 eps total. The Sgt. Savage one shot episode could be included, as the character Sgt. Savage was carried over into the Extreme series.
SIGMA 6 - 2 seasons, 26 eps total. I believe Paramount has the rights to this one, though the most they did with it was a single disc release with the first five episodes recut and redubbed into a feature length movie. The series didn't complete it's run on US television, so the set could be marketed as having never before seen episodes. |

With Jem & M.A.S.K. now confirmed to be released by Shout, I was wondering if there was any chance we might see some additional G.I. Joe titles released in the near future? |

That's the most logical explanation, but who knows maybe there are some licensing/rights issues that require it to be it's own seperate release.
