Will Shout! Factory get the rights for DVD sets of these?

Do you think Shout! Factory could get the rights for DVD sets of these classic TV shows?:

* Get Along Gang (DIC/American Greetings)

* Square One TV

* 3-2-1 Contact

* Soul Train

* American Bandstand

* People Are Funny

* The Gong Show

* The Newlywed Game

* The Dating Game

* The $1.98 Beauty Show

* The Hollywood Squares (Peter Marshall)

* The Bobby Vinton Show

* Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and the First Edition

* Rollergames

* American Gladiators

* Dolly (Dolly Parton 1987-1988)

* Real People

* That's Incredible!

* Those Amazing Animals

* Rescue 911

* TV's Bloopers and Pratical Jokes

(Hope for most of these shows they get the rights to Shout! Factory has to clear/approve clip and/or music licences!)

There's something holding up the release of Get Along Gang.  Not entirely sure what, but it's something we can't work on at this time.

Square One and 3-2-1 Contact are both great shows, but when it comes to children's educational programming, we're sticking with The Electric Company at this time.

The various game shows are really hard sells.  Not entirely sure how you'd go about producing sets like this.  There really isn't any replay value.

Rollin' On The River is a show we've played with once before.  You can get a best of-type DVD by following this link: http://www.shoutfactorystore.com/prod.aspx?pfid=286&sid=4632F952F40A42BDB1F51BBBE2D634B2

I'll look into a few of these other titles.  Great suggestions.  Keep 'em coming!

RE: Will Shout! Factory get the rights for DVD sets of these?

How about Shout! Factory getting the rights for DVD sets of:

* Beverly Hills Teens (DIC cartoon)

* Popples (1980's DIC cartoon)

* The remaining episodes of the DIC ALF/ALF TALES cartoon series.

* Villa Agerie (1970's PBS Spanish aimed kids show)

* Anything to Win (GSN documentary series)

* The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. (1970's Saturday Morning live action kidvid show)

* The Monster Squad (1970's Saturday Morning live action kidvid show)

* Big John, Little John (1970's Saturday Morning live action kidvid show)

* Westwind (1970's Saturday Morning live action kidvid show)

* Star Search 1980's

* Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling (DIC cartoon)

* Dinosaucers (DIC cartoon)

* America's Top 10 with Casey Kasem

* You Can't Do That on Television

* Soap Factory Disco (1970's disco TV show)

* Hot City (1970's disco TV show)

* Sports Challenge (1970's sports game show)

How about single DVD's of past TV specials, like Night of 100 Stars 1982, the 1976 Paul Lynde Halloween Special, the 1979 Leif Garrett TV special, the 1980's NBC Television's Greatest Commercials TV specials (there were 5 made), the 1980's NBC TV Censored Bloopers specials (There were 7 or 8 made), the 1984 Those Wonderful TV Game Shows special, and the 1977 animated A Doonesbury Special?

(As I said before, hope Shout! Factory gets the music clearance/celebrity clearance/production clearance rights towards releasing these if and when they do!)

" A Doonesbury Special" was included on THE HUBLEY COLLECTION:  EVERYONE RIDES THE CAROUSEL, an Image release (possibly out of print now).  The Paul Lynde special you mention is coming out in a month or two, also from Image.

I was one of the dancers at the Soap Factory TV show back in the 70's and getting a DVD of the show would be tremendously appreciated. Please let me know if the syndication of the Soap Factory is for sale on DVD or whatever medium. It would be great to have for memories and to show to my kids.

I think the Hollywood Squares with Peter Marshall would be a good one to offset the recently released Match Game, Family Feud, and Price is Right sets. I would like to see Marcus Welby and the rest of Ironside
