WHAT KIND OF SETS YOU WOULD LIKE SHOUT TO PRODUCE for not so famos shows ala TF ??
OK so here is the big question what kind of sets you would want 1) As cheap as possible, many episodes on a disc to get more out as quickly as possble 2) BARE BONES but the material itself should have good quality. THIS is what I prefer NO fancy menus (static would do it) maybe just the themsong in the menus but htta's it , NO Fancy Artcover and boxes , NO EXTRAS, BUT at least the video and audio quality should be as good a spossble. AN dof course 2 VOlumes at most of an entire 65 ep series/ 3) Deluxe sets with all the fancy parts

I would love to see Shout! Facotry release the complete series of "The Raccoons" along with the speicals the came before it ("The Christmas Raccoons", "The Raccoons on Ice" and "The Raccoons: Let's Dance") with the following

- bundles with plushies (prefrerably: Bert and Bentley Raccoon)

- Special features from the UK season sets

- Fancy artcover and boxes

- Awesome video and audio quality

There's only one set I'd like to see made, which might very well be impossible:

The Power Team (the cartoon series on Video Power)

Basically all I want is my TV shows to get a complete DVD release.  I would obviously love all of the Bells and Whistles that they can cram in a package but if it's hindering the chances of a full dvd release then I would prefer a reasonably priced bare bones box set that guarantees a complete release.  In the end owning the actual show itself is more important to me then owning some of the show and plenty of bonus material.

Basically the way X-men was released on DVD.  It was a volume release that surprisingly was priced by Disney at 16.99 for the first couple of weeks then went to a normal price at 19.99.  It basically had no special features but it didn't matter to me because I finally had all of the episodes.

RE: WHAT KIND OF SETS YOU WOULD LIKE SHOUT TO PRODUCE for not so famous shows ala TF ??

With the rumor that Shout may be getting the DVD rights to Power Rangers ( and I can't stress enough that this is just a rumor) I would love to see them produce some nice subtitled sets for Super Sentai. The only thing I can see being a problem is that I am used to watching the subbs form TVNihon and they do an amazing job with great effects and a really high quality look to their subbs that I don't think Shout or anyone else for that matter would take the time to do for a DVD set. The question of competing sets between PR and SS would be a non issue I think as they have pretty different audiences. Sentai is more of an older show and seems to cater to an older audience, though still a kids show it really seems to have a fan base of people who already love Toku and Japanese hero shows in the fist place. Power Rangers would of course get all the older nostalgia folks buying into it but also the new generation. So maybe Sentai in a limited run or as a MOD title.

Just a though

First and foremost, Samurai Pizza Cats. Second, M.A.S.K. Third, Silverhawks. Fourth, Bionic Six (I haven't seen that since it was on live... that would be awesome to see). ...I think the rest have been made. ;-)

Road Rovers (haven't found it ANYWHERE in good quality) , Samuari Pizza Cats (Seriously, why hasn't there been a DVD released yet? Even if it is just a 5 episode disk :D), Freakazoid (Thank God I taped all of these onto VHS tapes before CN pulled them :D ), and SWAT Kats (a legit DVD, not some web-only crap). I would LOVE to get a Real Ghostbusters DVD set that's cheap and not too overtly flashy (While I love the Time-Life set, it's just way too much : ).

Exhaustingly Fabulous

I've seen some "Wheeled Warriors" DVDs at Blockbuster that have 5 or so episodes on DVD, but other than that, not much else. I would definitely check out "Orbots" if it ever gets a DVD release :P
