I fondly remember this as Valerie, Valerie's Family: The Hogans, and The Hogan Family and it still stand as my favorite sitcom from the '80s. What are the chances of Shout! licensing the entire Valerie Harper/Sandy Duncan years from Warner Home Video?
They started to rerun the show last year, I think it was on ABC Family. They barely got through the first season and they stopped showing it. Sad sad sad.
ABC Family held the syndication rights, which began in 2006. If I recall they started with Season 3 first and then pulled it from the schedule. They went back to air the first two seasons with Valerie, and then stopped again at the same point in Season 3 with Sandy.
I remember this. I would think Hallmark channel or the Hub would be better off picking up this show. This was by far my favorite show of the 80s. Shout! if your listening, how about looking into this show for a DVD release?
