Member since: 11/25/2010 | | The Larry Sanders Show disc fault | | I got my complete set of The Larry Sanders show last week and have been having a great time watching the series again. Just up to the second disc of season four and have had problems with glitches during the episode Conflict Of Interest. In the minute leading up to chapter 3 in a scene where Paula and Stevie are having an argument, the picture keeps freezing up and skipping and then comes right again when chapter 3 starts playing. Has anyone else had the same issues? |

Member since: 11/25/2010 | | RE: The Larry Sanders Show disc fault | | I have no issues with my player (it's a Sony BDP-S370 and has latest firmware update) and I've noticed it happens just before the layer change. It's definitely a bad disc and not a player issue as the player has never had an issue with DVDs or blu ray discs until now. All of the other DVDs in the set so far play just fine. |

I've had bad discs in sets before and as you well know with complete series, it can take some time to watch everything. I've called the company and they've either replaced the disc or the season. Good luck. Let me (us) know what you did to remedy it and hope it's resolved. |

P.S. Just tried calling but was on hold for a while and as it was an international call, I thought it would be better to hang up and try emailing again. Will keep you posted. |

Member since: 11/25/2010 | | RE: The Larry Sanders Show disc fault | | Got a response at Amazon from someone who also bought this set and found exactly the same disc fault so it definitely wasn't an isolated case. I sent my disc off to Shout! Factory in December so hopefully I'll get a corrected disc in the mail before the end of January. |
