RE: Fighting Foodons?
Since it was dubbed by 4Kids, Funimation (or who distributes 4Kids stuff) would have a higher chance of releasing it than Shout since I don't think they have acquired any anime shows (unless if I was mistaken). Who knows, stranger things have happened like Smurfs Volume 1 is coming out next year that was advertised on a Popeye disc.

Distributors of anime programming usually keep their programming under lock and key. If anyone is going to release any anime, it will be directly from those who hold the rights to it.

I would also like to see this series get a DVD release, but it didn't do too well ratingswise (from my understanding), so it's doubtful.  Then again, maybe that would allow someone to get it cheaply. ;)

And I'm sure you'd know how the Burnt Meatballs first felt in the series. Poor guys. But maybe either FUNimation or some other distributor might help with the show being released on DVD.

I wish Fighting Foodons was on DVD. I remember that anime series with a cat girl villian named Clawdia in it!
