Does anyone remember the early 1990s version of "The Untouchables"? I believe Paramount produced the series and released it through syndication along with "Star Trek - The Next Generation". It was inspired by the Kevin Costner movie, which of course was based on the original series from way back. This 1990s version lasted two seasons and was really good. The acting, writing, 1920s-30s set design were all top notch.
Since Paramount does not appear to have plans to release this -- heck, they may not even remember they have it -- would Shout! Factory be interested in aquiring the rights? It was a really good show, and might be right up your alley. |
