And since this is the 20th anniversary of the second ' made for tv' rock group, there's even a New Monkees reunion happening in LA in December! I thinik Warner Brothers owns the rights to botht he music and show.

I may be dating myself (as a young one), but The New Monkees was part of my childhood, and I remember tuning in specifically because I'd gotten hooked on the originals that were in repeats at the time. |

Here's the major problem with The New Monkees... Music. The cost of royalties alone would be too expensive, particularly when talking about a "band" no one even realized existed. They simply didn't take off the way the original Monkees did, so I'm afraid it's something we wouldn't even begin to be able to consider.
