Pole Position was definitely done by DiC, it's one of the best shows they ever did. I thought DiC got the rights back to a bunch of their older shows.
Pole Position would be a great show to release since there are only 13 episodes. It's quite nostalgic now, if you grew up in the 80's, then you remember watching Pole Position after Dungeons & Dragons every Saturday morning on CBS.

DiC did get the rights back from Disney, maybe helgasboy was thinking of Turbo Teen (aired at the same time, but TT was a boy who became a car while PP was a Night Rider ripoff).
