Member since: 12/6/2009 | | California Dreams Seasons 4 and 5! | First off, I'd just like to give a big thanks to Shout! Factory for releasing the first 3 seasons of this show on DVD. It has arguably been my favorite show of all time ever since I had the privilege of seeing live screening when I was still in junior high.
With that said (and because I haven't seen another thread about this yet), I would like begin the discussion of getting seasons 4 and 5 released as well so that we can all complete our collections and pass them on as a whole to people who missed out on this show when it originally aired.
So Brian "B Ward", if there's any news, please let us know here! As for everyone else, please show your support! |

Back when NBC started their Saturday morning T-NBC lineup in 1993, I was ecstatic and love just about every show that was a part of that block. Would love to see other T-NBC shows make it to DVD as well. I've already begun a thread in regards to T-NBC shows (Running the Halls, Hang Time, City Guys, etc.) being released on DVD. |

But I can also say that, due to the low volume of sales on these titles, the budgets are considerably lower, which means we don't have the money to invest in bonus material. Shout! Factory Select is a program essentially designed to get the series out to fans. But the bells and whistles often have to get left behind.
If S4 sells well, you can absolutely expect S5 to come out in the future. We love the show and our fingers are officially crossed!

Could you please give the fans any info you have on whether or not Shout! Factory will be releasing the 5th (and final) season of California Dreams? It will be extremely disheartening for those of us who wish to own the final season and complete our series collection if your company has ceased with this TV show right before the last season of the series. |
